2018 Summary

December 2018

It is that time of the year again - the season of family gatherings, cold weather, and hot cocoa.

As we look back at 2018, we want to take this opportunity to express our most sincere gratitude.

Your support for this organization is enormously appreciated. We could not do what we do without your support and friendship.

This past year we were able to make two trips to Honduras. In February, we delivered clothes, shoes, and toys. We took hemoglobin samples to get a better picture of the children’s needs.

In our July trip, we traveled a total of nearly 200 miles of rough terrain with a doctor we were able to bring to provide free consultations to the four villages we visited.

Furthermore, we added The Montessori Special Needs School to our list of eating centers.

Although our focus remains in Las Brisas, La Vegona, and The Montessori School, we visited five new villages.

Eight total communities translate to:

60 children received school backpacks 120 children received school supplies

190 pairs of shoes distributed 250 toothpaste/toothbrushes delivered

1500+ pieces of garment given AND 19,250 warm meals served.

As we look forward to 2019, we are excited and encouraged to know that you will be walking alongside us, and we thank you in advance.

Beginning 2019 on the right foot

Your gift will make a tremendous impact in the lives of these families.

In most Latin American countries, the school year begins in February, and it ends in mid-November. For many families who live in these mountains, working on coffee farms during the harvest season is how they can afford supplies for the incoming school year. Many parents take their children to help earn extra money. We can help ease this burden.

May God bless you and prosper you,

From our family to yours: THANK YOU.
